H.N. Nuttall can trace its history back to the 1850s when it was a grocer's shop in central Manchester. Over the years it changed from retail to wholesale food supply (to the catering trade) and became a limited company in 1940.

Since the 1930s the company has been owned by the same family. We remain proudly independent to this day.

Nowadays we supply all sectors of the catering industry but our main emphasis is still on leisure catering i.e. hotels, restaurants and pub restaurants. We deliver as far afield as the Lake District down to the South Coast. Our current turnover is over £12.75 million.

As a private, family-owned company we strive above all else to provide a good service to our customers. Our high reputation throughout the trade has been based on this foundation.
